Raymond Cheasbro, 79, Shawnee Mission, Kan., died June 13, 2013.

Graveside services are planned for 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at Paola Cemetery, Paola, Kan. Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Cheasbro from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Interment is set for Paola Cemetery, Paola.

Raymond was born Sunday, Nov. 19, 1933, in Stanton, Kan. He was the son of Ernest and Della (Palmer) Cheasbro.

He had lived in Winfield, Kan., for 45 years, Overland Park for the past 20 years, moving there from Lawrence.

Survivors include his brother, the Rev. Leonard Cheasbro and his wife, Ann, Ottawa; sister, Dorothy Erickson, Paola; brother, David Cheasbro, Paola; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Living Opportunities through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
