Wilma L. Price, 88, Overland Park, Kan., passed away Monday, July 15, 2013.

Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kan.

Wilma was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Vassar, Kan., to William and Bertha Ogle.

Wilma graduated from Michigan Valley High School in 1943 and married Warren D. Price May 28, 1945. Together for 64 years, they raised their family in Lawrence and Kansas City, Kan., where Wilma was a longtime active member of Maywood Community Church.

Wilma had a special joy and passion for cooking and quilting. She was a kind friend to many and a loving mother and grandmother. Wilma is pre-deceased by Warren and her four siblings. She is survived by her four children, Stan Price, Stephan Price, Kathy Patrick and Candy Byrom; five grandchildren; and her great-grandson.

The family wishes to express appreciation to the nurses and staff of Crossroads Hospice and Bickford for their kind and compassionate care.
