The monthly meeting of the Rowdy Wranglers 4-H Club was called to order Aug. 12 by President Emma Rossman. Members answered role call by answering the question, “If you were a cat, what would your name be?”

Last month’s minutes were read and approved. Parliamentarian Chad Hibdon gave a talk about how leadership is elected in the club.

It was announced that the club’s banner won Reserve Champion at the county fair, and therefore will proceed to the state competition. Members were recognized for achievements in the county fair, in particular the members who qualified in the Franklin County FACS judging team, which will be competing at the state fair.

Before adjournment, members were reminded to sign up for offices in which they are interested, because at next month’s meeting new officers will be elected. The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H motto, “To make the best better!”
