Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Leader Dawn Rumford reminded members that record books were due to her or Sandy Vrbas Sept. 14. She also encouraged them to cash fair checks and write thank-yous if they haven’t yet done so.

For the program, Samantha Lee gave a project talk about the fast food industry, quizzing members on various statistics. The club then had the election of officers for the 2013-2014 4-H year. Since this was her last Rowdy Wranglers meeting, Dawn Rumford was presented with a green and white (with a touch of purple) floral arrangement, in honor of her 29 years of involvement in the 4-H program.

The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H motto, and refreshments were served.
