Nicole Frances Leshin and Matthew Oliver Waldron, Gainesville, Fla., were married April 27, 2012, at the Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island, Fla., by officiant Jackie Hays.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Ira and Karen Leshin, Satellite Beach, Fla. She was escorted by her father, Ira Leshin.

The groom is the son of Dr. Randy and Sandy Waldron, Ottawa.

The bride wore a beach/formal dress by Lazaro.

She carried white peonies and garden roses.

Matron of honor was the bride’s college friend, Amanda Frissell, Tampa, Fla.

Bridesmaids were the bride’s high school friends, Ashley Loveless, Washington, D.C., Christina Grinter, Tampa, Fla., and Caitlin Soule, Orlando, Fla.; a middle school friend, Katie Rodriguez, Tampa; the bride’s sorority sister, Lauren Bislick, Seattle, Wash.; and the groom’s sister, Brooke Vogel, Gardner.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Drew Waldron, Prairie Village.

Groomsmen were the groom’s friend from residency, Dr. Martin Rosenthal, Gainesville; the groom’s college friend and fraternity brother, Ryan Potas, Kansas City, Kan.; the bride’s brother, Daniel Leshin, Satellite Beach, Fla.; the groom’s cousin, Jeff Rademaker, Ft. Worth, Texas; and the groom’s childhood friends, Scott Sachse, Prairie Village, and Cale Drumright, Irvine, Texas.

Ushers were the groom’s medical school friend, Dr. Sam Lobell, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and the groom’s childhood friend, Kyle Fetters, Kansas City, Mo.

Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Dylan Vogel, Gardner.

Musician was Richard Straton, Amelia Island, Fla.

A reception was at Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, Fla.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia.

They will make their home at Gainesville, Fla.

The bride is a speech-language pathologist. She earned a master’s of arts degree in speech pathology from the University of Florida.

The groom is a resident in anesthesia at Shands Hospital, University of Florida. He earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Kansas.
