Sarah Guge, Ottawa, and Edward Duggan, Brooklyn, N.Y., were married June 29, 2013, in a double-ring ceremony by Pastor Scott Dickinson at Hiltop Garden Inn, Manhattan, Kan.

She is the daughter of Scott and Glenda Guge, Ottawa.

He is the son of Jack and Siobhan Duggan, Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father, Scott Guge.

She wore a vintage-inspired Chantilly lace gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline and crystal-beaded belt at the waist. The fitted silhouette flowed into a pick-up skirt, completed with a chapel-length train.

She carried red roses with white feather accents.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Holly Guge, Ottawa.

Bridesmaid was the bride’s cousin, Tayler Guge, Ottawa.

Best man was the groom’s twin brother, Michael Duggan, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Groomsman was the groom’s friend, Anthony Illiano.

Ushers were the couple’s friends, Chris McPheron, Ottawa, Ben Harris, Ottawa, and Alex Klimowich, New York.

Flower girl was the bride’s sister, Emma Guge, Ottawa. Ring bearer was the bride’s brother, Parker Guge, Ottawa.

A reception was at the Hilton Garden Inn, Manhattan.

The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica. They will reside in Manhattan.

The bride graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She works at Meadowlark Hills as the Community Relations Director in Manhattan.

The groom graduated from John Jay College in New York in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army. He currently also works at Environmental Manufacturing, Inc., in Manhattan.
