Search for ‘hybrid wolf’ ends

LYNDON — An advisory for a “hybrid wolf” on the loose has been canceled after it was located by its owner.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office issued the alert in mid-December after the wolf was seen north of Osage City, near U.S. 56. It was unknown if the wolf was aggressive, Laurie Dunn, Osage County sheriff said.
