Childhood screening set

Ottawa school district, Early Childhood Special Education/Ottawa Tiny-K staff, plan to conduct a free developmental screening Wednesday for children 5 and younger who reside within the Ottawa school district, according to a news release.

Screenings are expected to take place at the board of education office, 1404 S. Ash St., Ottawa. People who have concerns about their child’s development, or think their child has special needs and wish to schedule an appointment, can do so by calling the district’s special services office at (785) 229-8110, ext. 1158.
