Police Department Arrests

• 12:03 a.m. Monday, 1200 block of Ash Street, Kristine Nicole Brady, 27, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, 700 block of Ash Street, Antonio M. Padilla, 21, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 6:01 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of South Oak Street, Billy J. Adams Jr., 40, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

Police Department News

Incidents

• 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, 1600 block of South Osage Drive, a 73-year-old Ottawa woman reported a 14-year-old Ottawa girl had run away. The girl was located and taken to juvenile intake, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 10:23 a.m. Monday, Casey’s General Store, 334 N. Main St., a 43-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect forged a check and stole merchandise. The store employee made additional reports to police about forged checks and stolen merchandise at 11:01 a.m. Monday.

Accidents

• 12:13 p.m. Tuesday, Third and Main streets, a vehicle driven by Gary Jordan, 71, Ottawa, collided with a vehicle driven by Jeanine Cameron, 58, Melvern. Both drivers were cited with unsafe speed for conditions.

• 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, 715 W. Second St., a vehicle driven by Tim Mathias, 44, Ottawa, struck a pole.

Wellsville Police Department News

• Monday: 400 block of Main Street, medical call; I-35 and K-33, assist other agency; 200 block of East Fourth Street, theft; 700 block of Main Street, animal complaint.

• Tuesday: 200 block of Prairie Lane, parking complaint; 600 block of Main Street, motorist assist; 100 block of Walnut Street, traffic complaint; Wellsville area, assist outside agency with checking on residents’ welfare.

• Firefighters assisted with 13 medical calls Monday and Tuesday.

Franklin County Fire Departments

• 12:35 a.m. Monday, 1440 I-35 in Franklin County, Williamsburg firefighters responded to a car fire.

• 6:37 p.m. Tuesday, 2211 Allen Terrace, Richmond firefighters responded to a mutual aid call.

• Firefighters responded to one medical call Monday.
