Franklin County residents should be on the lookout for property valuation notices next week.

The valuation notices are set to be mailed out Monday, but a printing error on the notices shows the mailing date as “03/03/13,” but should read “03/03/14,” a press release from the county appraiser’s office said.

Franklin County residents should be on the lookout for property valuation notices next week.

The valuation notices are set to be mailed out Monday, but a printing error on the notices shows the mailing date as “03/03/13,” but should read “03/03/14,” a press release from the county appraiser’s office said.

The values listed on the notices are current for the 2014 valuation year. Informal appeals will remain open 30 days past the Monday mailing date, the release said. The deadline for informal appeals is April 30.

A corrected notice will be available Monday on the county appraiser’s website, according to the release.

Valuation notices can also be sent via email by emailing appraiser@franklincoks.org, calling the appraiser’s office at (785) 229-3420, or by stopping by the appraiser’s office in the Franklin County Courthouse, 301 S. Main St., Ottawa.
