• DOUGLAS, Ariz. — A second skirmish occurred yesterday between the Ninth Cavalry troops and Mexican federal soldiers from Agua Prieta, across the international boundary line, 1 1/2 miles southeast of Douglas. Mexicans to the number of 50 fired on the border patrol at a distance of 250 yards.

• The Missouri Pacific depots at Rantoul and Imes and the Imes post office were entered last night by burglars. A pouch of mail in the Rantoul depot was taken and about $2 in pennies at the Imes depot was removed from the money drawer. The post office at Imes lost about $140 in stamps and $1.50 in pennies.
