Governor seeking interns
By The Herald Staff | 3/8/2013
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback is searching for a few college students to serve his administration during a summer internship program.
College juniors, seniors, graduate and law students are encouraged to apply for the internships, which require 30 hours a week from May to August. The deadline for applications — which are available on the governor’s website — is Friday.
The internship program is designed to give students hands-on experience working in state government and allow young people the opportunity to contribute to improving Kansas, Brownback’s office said in a release. Some internship positions are paid.
