Curry's ouster hearing delayed

Civil court proceedings to remove Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Curry have been delayed until next week, a Franklin County Court official confirmed Tuesday.

The civil ouster hearing to remove Curry is set for 11 a.m. March 21, John Steelman, Franklin County District Court administrator said. Franklin County Attorney Stephen Hunting filed the ouster proceeding in late February after Curry was arrested on a felony charge of interference with law enforcement.
