Subject of Silver Alert located

An Ottawa man who was the subject Thursday afternoon of a Silver Alert has been located.
Edwin D. Gardner, 88, who reportedly suffers from dementia, had been missing since about 12:40 p.m. Thursday from the 100 block of South Main Street in Ottawa.
Capt. Adam Weingartner, patrol division commander with the Ottawa Police Department, said Thursday evening that Gardner had been located uninjured in Ottawa.
"The department would like to thank the public for passing along this information using social media and other outlets to get the word out," Weingartner said Thursday evening.
