Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt has been confirmed as the speaker for the next Eggs and Issues event, John Coen, Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive officer, said Friday.

The event, planned by the Chamber’s Legislative Action Committee, is planned for 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. April 23 at Ransom Memorial Hospital’s conference rooms, 1301 S. Main St., Ottawa.

More details about Schmidt’s appearance are expected to be announced later.
