Torres was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital, 1301 S. Main St., Ottawa, where she was treated for her injuries and released, a hospital spokesperson said.

Hansen declined medical attention at the scene and opted to be transported by private vehicle to his physician’s office, the report said.

The crash forced local law enforcement officers to temporarily close K-68 on the east side of Ottawa until both vehicles could be removed.

Hansen and Torres were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
