Silver Alert issued for Princeton man canceled

A Silver Alert issued Thursday morning for a rural Princeton man has been canceled.

Donald Eugene Cook, 75, was found at a Kansas City area hospital where he had checked himself in, according to a Franklin County Sheriff's report.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was searching for Cook after he had left his residence at 836 Kentucky Road about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday for an unknown destination, according to a sheriff’s report.

Cook had been reported missing by his spouse.
