Rescheduled legislative coffee set

By The Herald Staff | 4/25/2014

Organizers hope the third time is the charm for a Saturday-morning event featuring area legislators.

The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce’s legislative coffee is set for 10 a.m. May 3 at Ottawa City Hall, 101 S. Hickory St. The event originally was planned for February, but was rescheduled for April because of severe winter weather. The coffee was again postponed earlier this month because legislators worked late into the weekend on a court-mandated education funding bill before a three-week recess.
