Kansas Kids Fitness Day is a statewide effort to reinforce the fun and health benefits of noncompetitive physical activities and injury prevention, according to the governor’s office.

Other fitness events for Kansas third-graders are planned at 24 select sites across the state, though no such events are expected in Franklin County.
