A third adult body has been found on the property at 3197 Georgia Road, west of Ottawa, Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards told media gathered for a press conference outside the sheriff’s office late Tuesday morning.
“We have found a third body,” Richard said. “We have found two adult males and one adult female.”
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene at 12:15 p.m. Monday after receiving a call from an individual reporting a body had been discovered at the location.
Richards said the bodies had not yet been identified and that the crime scene was still being processed.
He declined to disclose where the bodies were found, other than to confirm all three were discovered on the rural tract of land. He would not disclose how the three adults had died, citing the ongoing nature of the case.
Richards said the major case squad, with 40 detectives from various agencies, had been activated Tuesday morning to assist with the investigation.
