Pot bust earns man conviction

LYNDON — A 20-year-old Topeka man who entered a plea and was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute Monday in Osage County District Court is scheduled for sentencing 9:30 a.m. July 7 in district court, according to a news release from Osage County Attorney Brandon Jones’ office.

A large quantity of marijuana was discovered in Brady Nemnich’s vehicle after he was stopped by an Osage County sheriff’s deputy for speeding Dec. 8, 2013, in Osage County, the release said.

Nemnich remains free on bond while awaiting sentencing, the release said.
