Davis makes stop at SWAN festival

Democrat gubernatorial candidate Paul Davis, Lawrence, made an appearance at the inaugural SWAN Arts Festival Saturday in Ottawa.

Davis, Kansas House Minority Leader, and his running mate Jill Docking, a Wichita businesswoman, spent the weekend on the campaign trail by visiting Kansas communities during their time of celebration. Davis visited Ottawa during the SWAN Arts Festival Saturday and introduced the Ottawa Suzuki Strings before its performance.

Before visiting Ottawa, Davis made a stop in Edgerton for the Frontier Days Parade and Docking visited Council Grove for the Washunga Days Parade.

“I love getting out and meeting Kansans,” Davis said.
