U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Kan., has extended the application deadline for fall internships in her three offices to July 15.

“Congressional internships give college students a tremendous opportunity to learn firsthand about the legislative process and the important issues facing Kansans,” Jenkins said. “This internship provides students with an opportunity to learn more about careers in public service as they perform essential roles in the day-to-day operation of a congressional office.”

To apply, students are asked to submit a completed application form, personal statement, resume, and two letters of recommendation. For more information, go to Jenkins’ website or call (202) 225-6601 to speak with the internship coordinator.
