• 9:04 p.m. Friday, 1100 block of North Sycamore Street, Jeffrey Robinson, 52, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 12:45 a.m. Sunday, U.S. 59 and Jackson Road, a 2007 Pontiac driven by Jeffrey Weidner, 30, Richmond, was southbound on U.S. 59 when it struck a deer.

• 10:59 p.m. Friday, 400 block of East Logan Street, a 33-year-old Ottawa man was taken into protective custody.

• 8:39 p.m. Saturday, 400 block of South Cherry Street, a 78-year-old Ottawa man was found deceased from an apparent suicide, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 9:43 a.m. Friday, 1300 block of South Olive Street, a 50-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect deceived him of money through a scam.

• 5:21 p.m. Friday, 600 block of North Main Street, a 73-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect stole a license plate from her vehicle.

• 11:39 p.m. Friday, 1300 block of Olive Street, a 24-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known man entered her residence and removed items.

• 2;47 a.m. Saturday, 600 block of South Sycamore Street, a 35-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known male removed items belonging to her.

• 9 p.m. Saturday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., a loss prevention member reported the theft of items by two known females.

Accidents

• 8:36 p.m. Friday, Peachwave, 1410 S. Main St., a vehicle driven by Michael Kennicott, 27, Ottawa, was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene without reporting the accident.
