A 26-year-old Osawatomie man escaped injury in a one-vehicle rollover wreck about noon Sunday near the intersection of Vermont and John Brown roads in Franklin County.

A Buick Le Sabre driven by Kenton Zwick was traveling south in the 1400 block of Vermont Road when Zwick swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and overturned on the opposite side of the road before landing on its tires, according to a Franklin County Sheriff’s report.

Zwick was not injured, but the Buick was a total loss, the report said.
