Ottawa man arrested in Saturday night stabbing

Ottawa police have arrested 26-year-old Ferris Fuller, Ottawa, in connection with a stabbing Saturday night, according to a press release from the Ottawa Police Department.

Officers were dispatched at about 11:41 p.m. Saturday to the 800 block of South Sycamore Street where police found the victim, 24-year-old Cameron Hartman, Ottawa, the release said.

Hartman was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center and was treated and released, the release said.

Fuller was arrested for aggravated battery and is being held at the Franklin County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges, according to the press release.

The case remains under investigation and Ottawa police continue to follow up on any leads, the release said.
