The library subscribes to Cypress Resume, an easy-to-use online service that allows people to craft a professionally written resume and cover page quickly, Lisa Slavin, adult programming librarian, said.

“Ottawa Library cardholders have the privilege of using Cypress Resume right from our website to create professional cover letters and resumes,” Slavin said. “You may use the Cypress service at home or on the go when you access the green Cypress Resume button on the right-hand side of the Ottawa Library website, http://www.ottawalibrary.org.”

The site and program also can be accessed from the public computers at the library, 105 S. Hickory St., Ottawa.
