Possibly pregnant driver injured in collision with school bus

LANE — A woman, who authorities said possibly was pregnant, was injured when the blue Ford Ranger she was driving crashed into the back of a stopped Central Heights school bus late Thursday afternoon in the 4000 block of Cloud Road, west of Lane.
The bus driver and two student passengers on the bus were not injured, Rick Geist, Franklin County undersheriff, said at the scene. The bus was stopped to let off a student near the end of the after-school bus route. First responders were dispatched to the scene at 4:11 p.m.
The woman was transported by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The extent of her injuries was unknown Thursday evening.
