LANE — A Greeley woman, who authorities said possibly was pregnant, was injured late Thursday afternoon in a collision with a school bus.
Emily Poage was sent to Overland Park Regional Medical Center after the blue Ford Ranger she was driving crashed into the back of a stopped Central Heights school bus in the 4000 block of Cloud Road, west of Lane.
The bus driver and two student passengers on the bus were not injured, Rick Geist, Franklin County undersheriff, said at the scene. The bus was stopped to let off a student near the end of the after-school bus route. First responders were dispatched to the scene at 4:11 p.m.
Poage was transported by ambulance, though the extent of her injuries was unknown Friday morning.
Reports at the scene indicated Poage was pregnant, though Lt. Curtis Hall, with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, said Friday morning he didn’t know how far along the pregnancy might be.
