OU ranked in best colleges report

Ottawa University is among the best colleges in the Midwest, according to a new report.

U.S. News and World Report recently unveiled its 2014 list of best higher education institutions, ranking OU 56th in the region. The list is based on several key measures of quality — undergraduate academic reputation; graduation and retention rates; faculty resources; student selectivity; financial resources; alumni giving; and graduation rate performance.

One of the factors contributing to OU’s ranking was its Adawe LifePlan Center, which provides a number of counseling, tutoring and other support services to students, the university said.
