West Franklin superintendent plans to resign

By The Herald Staff | 10/21/2013

It’s not another job he’s pursuing, Dotson Bradbury said.

Bradbury, West Franklin school district superintendent, said he submitted his resignation to staff and the board of education Monday afternoon. His resignation would be effective June 30, 2014, Bradbury, 67, Pomona, said.

Bradbury’s not retiring, but he’s not actively seeking another position either, he said.

“There’s not a job I’m pursuing,” he said. “My wife would like me to retire, but I haven’t made up my mind and I probably won't until after June.”
