Hope House accepting food, toys

Ottawa’s food pantry, Hope House, needs holiday donations, Mary Lois Yates said.

“Christmas items (new toys and clothing) for ages birth to 18 are needed,” Yates, Hope House coordinator, said. “With the help of our community, Hope House brought Christmas joy to 200 children and helped provide 75 food boxes in 2012.”

The pantry, 302 S. Walnut St., is accepting donations of new toys and clothes, as well as food, through Dec. 12, Yates said.
