Multiple charges after meth bust

A 27-year-old Pomona woman faces several drug-related charges after being stopped by Ottawa police early Sunday morning for a traffic infraction.

Natalie Hankins, 27, Pomona, was arrested midnight Sunday in the 1900 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to a police report.

Natalie Hankins, 27, Pomona, was arrested midnight Sunday in the 1900 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to a police report.

After arriving at the Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, officers located more methamphetamine on Hankins, which led to an additional charge of trafficking contraband into a correctional facility, the police report said.

Hankins also faces charges of no drug tax stamp, possession of paraphernalia and no insurance, according to a police report.

Hankins remained Tuesday afternoon in the Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa.
