• 8:22 a.m. Friday, 300 block of East Fifth Street, Thomas Knox, 31, Ottawa, on a City of Garnett warrant.

• 12:11 a.m. Saturday, James Automotive, 107 N. Main St., Colton Sobba, 20, and Joel Sobba, 27, both of Ottawa, on suspicion of attempted burglary.

• 10:30 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of South Osage Drive, Dennis Geschke, 61, Ottawa, on a Shawnee County warrant.

• 8:09 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of Cypress Street, Curtis Clayton, 22, Ottawa, on an Anderson County warrant.

• 11:55 p.m. Sunday, 2300 block of Princeton Street, Marc Wallace, 19, Olathe, on suspicion of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic infraction.

Thefts

• 12:35 p.m. Sunday, 329 S. Main St. a 60-year-old Lane man reported an unknown suspect stole a chainsaw from his shop sometime Saturday. Estimated loss was $300.

Accidents

• 5:41 p.m. Sunday, Idaho and Sand Creek roads, a 2005 Ford Ranger driven by Steven Powell, 64, Pomona, was northbound in the 3800 block of Idaho Road when he struck a deer.

• 5:54 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of Virginia Road, weather conditions caused a vehicle driven by Antonia Broce, 44, no address given, to wreck at the corner of Douglas and Virginia roads, according to a sheriff’s report. Broce and her 4-year-old daughter were uninjured, the report said.

• 9:32 a.m. Sunday, 300 block of South Willow Street, a 70-year-old Ottawa man was found dead from natural causes in his residence, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 10:17 a.m. Saturday, 200 block of West Ninth Street, a 41-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole items from his residence.

• 12:45 a.m. Saturday, 300 block of South Walnut Street, a 55-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect entered his locked residence and took items.

Accidents

• 12:24 p.m. Friday, 1000 block of North Davis Avenue, a vehicle driven by Richard Hodges, 66, Ottawa, struck a vehicle driven by Bruce Rockhold, 42, Williamsburg. Hodges was cited for inattentive driving and for basic speed.

• 9:50 a.m. Sunday, 1609 S. Osage Drive, Apt. C, firefighters responded to a cooking fire.
