Blood drive set for Methodist church

A holiday-time blood drive is planned next week at an Ottawa church.

Community Blood Center has organized a donation point 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Ottawa’s First United Methodist Church, 203 E. Fourth St. The blood center is the primary supplier of blood and blood components to more than 70 hospitals and medical centers in the Kansas City region, the group said in a press release.
