Two people — including a West Franklin student — were transported to a regional hospital after an early morning wreck west of Ottawa, Lt. Curtis Hall with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, said.
A white pickup driven by a male motorist was traveling westbound Friday morning on K-68 near Delaware and Florida roads between Ottawa and Pomona when the driver lost control and hit a red car driven by another male motorist, Hall said. Both drivers were transported to Stormont-Vail HealthCare in Topeka.
The names and ages of the drivers weren’t available Friday morning because the full accident report had not yet been completed, Hall said.
Dotson Bradbury, West Franklin school superintendent, said a student at the high school was one of the drivers involved, but had no further information.
