• 9:26 p.m. Friday, East Logan and North Oak streets, a 16-year-old Ottawa boy, on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of tobacco after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 12:06 a.m. Saturday, East 15th Street and Pin Oak Circle, Steven Taylor Lawson, 22, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

• 10:27 a.m. Saturday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Mark Baber, 31, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 6:18 a.m. Sunday, 2600 block of I-35, Bornard Shin, 35, Huntington Beach, Calif., on suspicion of driving with a suspended driver’s license after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

Thefts

• 9:03 a.m. Friday, 2706 Kingman Road, a 48-year-old Pomona man reported the theft of a black 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix from Hansen’s Used Cars. Estimated loss was $3,500.

Accidents

• 8:27 a.m. Friday, 3400 block of I-35 in Franklin County, a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Patricia Huettenmueller, 60, Garnett, was northbound on I-35 near milepost 188 when it struck a coyote.

• 9:35 a.m. Friday, 900 block of U.S. 59 in Franklin County, a 1998 Buick Regal driven by Sherri Baker, 52, Richmond, was northbound in the 900 block of U.S. 59 when it struck a deer.

• 11:36 a.m. Saturday, 2300 block of I-35 in Franklin County, a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Heath Redding, 25, Ottawa, was southbound on I-35 near milepost 178 when it struck a turkey.

• 4:08 p.m. Friday, 100 block of North Oak Street, a 41-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect damaged the padlocks to his storage units.

• 1:42 a.m. Saturday, 800 block of South Ash Street, a 28-year-old Ottawa woman reported she and her 7-year-old son were battered by a known 32-year-old Ottawa man.

• 8:18 a.m. Saturday, 1100 block of North Cherry Street, a 54-year-old Ottawa woman was found deceased of natural causes in her residence.

Thefts

• 10:54 a.m. Saturday, 700 block of South Oak Street, a 35-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked car and stole an item.

Accidents

• 7:05 p.m. Friday, 200 block of East Second Street, a vehicle driven by Eddie Masuch, 36, Ottawa, struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Enterprise. Masuch was cited for inattentive driving.

• 8:14 p.m. Friday, 600 block of North Cherry Street, Lars Allen Sr., 50, Ottawa, reported an unknown vehicle struck his legally parked vehicle and left the scene.
