• 7:07 a.m. Thursday, 1100 block of West 17th Street, Devin C. Jones, 30, Ottawa, on a civil warrant.

Police Department Arrests

• 9:56 a.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Tyler LaShum, 20, Sharp, Kan., on warrants from the cities of Ottawa and Burlington and Coffey County.

• 7:41 p.m. Thursday, 200 block of South Hickory Street, Billy Bush, 53, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of marijuana and on a Franklin County warrant.

• 8:21 a.m. Thursday, 600 block of East Sunshine Drive, a 43-year-old Garnett man reported a burglary at his business, Frontier Furniture, in Richmond. Estimated loss was $1,698.

• 2:07 p.m. Wednesday, 1200 Diamond Head Road, a 19-year-old Ottawa woman was taken into protective custody after making suicidal comments.

• 3:02 p.m. Wednesday, 1600 block of South Main Street, a 24-year-old Ottawa woman was taken into protective custody after making suicidal comments.

• 4:41 p.m. Wednesday, 800 block of West Sixth Street, Daniel Jones, 40, Ottawa, was cited and released after his dog bit a 16-year-old Ottawa boy.

• 11:55 a.m. Thursday, 1500 block of South Elm Street, a 66-year-old Ottawa man was taken into protective custody after making suicidal remarks.

• 2:11 p.m. Thursday, 500 block of South Walnut Street, a 38-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect damaged her property.

• 2:42 p.m. Thursday, 800 block of South Cedar Street, a 36-year-old Schell City, Mo., man reported an unknown suspect damaged his vehicle.

• 10:53 p.m. Thursday, 700 block of Ash Street, a 32-year-old Ottawa woman reported she was battered by a known suspect.


• 8:34 a.m. Thursday, 300 block of East Fifth Street, a 41-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known suspect stole checks from her residence.
