• 6:46 p.m. Monday, 900 block of East Wilson Street, Madge Allen, 50, Ottawa, on suspicion of battering a 54-year-old Ottawa woman.

• 6:52 p.m. Monday, 200 block of West Second Street, a 30-year-old Ottawa woman reported her 11-year-old child had been abused.

• 11:25 p.m. Monday, 1400 block of South Mulberry Street, Chris Laughlin, 37, Lane, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and an illegal weapon.

• 12:09 a.m. Wednesday, 600 block of South Main Street, David Martin, 24, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and on a City of Ottawa warrant.

Incidents

• 9:13 a.m. Monday, 300 block of East Fifth Street, a 41-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known 31-year-old Ottawa man had violated a protection order. The case remains under investigation.

• 10:12 a.m. Tuesday, 200 block of East Powhattan Street, a 25-year-old Ottawa man temporarily was taken into protective custody after attempting to harm himself.

Thefts

• 8:06 a.m. Monday, 800 block of South Willow Street, a 43-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect broke into his shed and stole items.

• 9:05 a.m. Monday, 500 block of North Birch Street, a 25-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect stole her identity.

• 11:25 a.m. Monday, Blue Sky Liquor, 846 S. Main St., a 48-year-old Ottawa man reported known suspects entered the store and stole items.

• 7:21 a.m. Tuesday, Gerken Rent-All, 120 E. 15th St., a 37-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect broke into the store and stole items.

• 3:18 p.m. Tuesday, Front Row Sports, 226 S. Main St., a 55-year-old Garnett man reported known suspects stole an item from the store.

• 3:19 p.m. Tuesday, 200 block of South Ash Street, a 43-year-old Ottawa man reported unknown suspects stole items from his residence.

Accidents

• 6:44 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of South Cedar Street, a vehicle driven by Kezia Redding, 23, Ottawa, struck a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Ottawa boy. The 17-year-old teen was cited for disobeying a stop sign.

• 3:13 p.m. Tuesday, 1600 block of South Hickory Street, Jordan Jobes, 22, Raymore, Mo., reported an unknown suspect struck his vehicle and left the scene.

• Monday: 700 block of Main Street, public assist.

• Tuesday: 300 block of Maple Street, public assist; 200 block of Main Street, traffic complaint.

• 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, East Ninth and South Cedar streets, responded to a motor vehicle wreck.

• Firefighters assisted with eight medical calls Monday and Tuesday.

• Firefighters responded to two medical calls Monday and Tuesday.
