Sheriff’s Department Arrests

• 8:11 p.m. Friday, 100 block of North Baldwin Street, Ronald Kennedy Jr., 31, Topeka, on suspicion of criminal threat, driving under the influence, driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container, refusal of preliminary breath test and illegal registration.

• 12:34 p.m. Saturday, 1000 block of East 15th Street, Aaron Moore, 37, Ottawa, on suspicion of transporting an open container of alcohol after the vehicle he was in was stopped for a traffic violation.

• 3:59 p.m. Sunday, 1000 block of East 15th Street, Jeremy Burgess, 33, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and no insurance after being stopped for a traffic violation.

• 7:50 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of West 17th Street, Jodi Mcnamara, 34, Ottawa, and Tanya Tingle, 36, Topeka, on suspicion of disorderly conduct after starting a disturbance with neighbors.

Thefts

• 12:07 p.m. Saturday, 1100 block of Shawnee Road, a 50-year-old Crosstimbers, Mo., woman reported the theft of a Craftsman lawn mower, a well pump, an extension ladder and a generator. Estimated loss was $2,425.

• 3:10 p.m. Saturday, 400 block of Tyler Street, a 34-year-old Pomona man reported an unknown suspect entered the tool box in his truck bed and stole miscellaneous power tools. Estimated loss was $1,155.

• 9:19 p.m. Saturday, 4500 block of Louisiana Road, a 71-year-old Ottawa man reported someone entered his garage and stole two Stihl chainsaws. Estimated loss was $300.

Accidents

• 9:11 p.m. Friday, 1300 block of U.S. 59, a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Patrisha Bowman, 35, Parker, was northbound in the 1300 block of U.S. 59 when it struck a deer.

• 12:53 p.m. Friday, Taco Bell, 2304 S. Princeton St., a 55-year-old Garnett woman reported someone damaged a wall.

• 4:39 p.m. Friday, 500 block of North Cedar Street, a 17-year-old Ottawa man was taken into police protective custody after it was found he was a child in need of care.

• 8:02 a.m. Saturday, 2300 block of South Cedar Street, a 28-year-old Dayton, Ohio, man was taken into protective custody after stating he wanted to harm himself.

• 10:11 a.m. Sunday, 700 block of South Cedar Street, a 26-year-old Ottawa man reported a domestic disturbance between himself and a 24-year-old Ottawa woman. The case is under investigation.

• 6:44 a.m. Friday, 800 block of South Cherry Street, a 35-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his vehicle.

• 9:36 a.m. Friday, Casey’s General Store, 334 N. Main St., a 53-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone forged a check and stole items.

• 12:04 p.m. Saturday, 1000 block of Ash Street, a 46-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his motorcycle.

• 1:54 p.m. Saturday, Carswell Automotive, 2146 S. Elm St., a 51-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole items off a car.
