• 2:43 p.m. Friday, 2600 block of I-35, Kristopher M. Devin, 28, Independence, on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and no proof of insurance after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 11:37 p.m. Friday, 700 block of Liberty Street, April L. Smith, 37, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 4:44 a.m. Saturday, 700 block of West Fifth Street, Chelsiegh M. Cobb, 26, Spring Hill, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

• 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Joey R. Vangaasbeek, 36, Williamsburg, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 3:59 p.m. Saturday, 600 block of South Main Street, Malissa Elder, 35, Quenemo, on a Coffey County warrant after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 3:03 p.m. Sunday, 2600 block of I-35, Huey Zane Brooks, 43, Montecello, Arkansas, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 10:10 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of West Second Street, Joshua A. Gulley, 32, Ottawa, on a City of Overland Park warrant.

Thefts

• 11:01 a.m. Sunday, 2600 block of Louisiana Road, a 64-year-old Ottawa woman reported her camper, storage unit, and shed were broken into and items taken. Estimated loss was $1,729.

• 1:02 p.m. Sunday, 200 block of Madison Street, a 55-year-old Pomona woman reported a known subject stole her Samsung flip phone. Estimated loss was $100. The case is under investigation.

Accidents

• 10:44 p.m. Sunday, John Brown and Virginia roads, a vehicle driven by Kelly Baldovin, 51, Lane, was westbound in the 4700 block of Virginia Road when it struck a deer.

• 11:35 p.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Colorado Road, a vehicle driven by Kaydence Goad, 16, Pomona, was southbound in the 1800 block of Colorado Road when she swerved to miss a deer and the vehicle went into the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle, however, Goad later was taken to an area hospital for possible injuries, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 4:45 a.m. Sunday, 4200 block of I-35, a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Justin Doyel, 26, Lewisville, Texas, was traveling southbound in the 4200 block of I-35 in Franklin County when it struck a deer.

• 9:56 a.m. Friday, 300 block of South Walnut Street, Jessica Velez, 30, Ottawa, was cited and released after battering a known 34-year-old Ottawa woman, according to a police report.

• 1:30 p.m. Friday, Ottawa University, 1001 S. Cedar St., Scott Moran Jr., 42, Ottawa, was cited and released after littering on university property.

• 3:11 p.m. Saturday, 200 block of South Cedar Street, a 23-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown subject damaged his property.

• 4:39 p.m. Saturday, 1200 block of South Main Street, a 20-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known man solicited her for prostitution. The case is under investigation.

• 6:30 p.m. Saturday, 1000 block of South Cottonwood Street, a 61-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown vehicle struck a city street sign and left the scene.

• 5:43 p.m. Sunday, 1500 block of South Elm Street, John Hawkes Harris, 51, Ottawa, was cited and released for disorderly conduct after an altercation, according to a police report.

• 7:28 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of Burroughs Street, Jesse Steuber, 33, Ottawa, was cited and released after his dog bit a 6-year-old Ottawa boy, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 12:37 a.m. Saturday, 800 block of South Pecan Street, a 33-year-old Ottawa woman reported a bicycle theft.

Accidents

• 5:58 p.m. Friday, 1300 Austin Court, a vehicle driven by Desiree Simms, 20, Rantoul, struck a legally parked vehicle. Simms was cited for limitations on backing.

• 9:48 a.m. Saturday, 200 block of South Cedar Street, Daniel Yarboro, 50, Ottawa, reported an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle during the night and left the scene.

• 2:07 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of East Hamblin Street, Kimberly Hilner, 38, Ottawa, reported an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle during the night and left the scene.

• Friday: 200 block of Ash Street, juvenile complaint; 400 block of Main Street, animal complaint; 100 block of West Third Street, animal complaint.

• Saturday: 300 block of Walnut Street, medical call; 300 block of East Eighth Street, traffic complaint; 100 block of Locust Street, traffic complaint.

• 2:46 p.m. Friday, 803 S. Cypress St., firefighters responded to a rubbish fire.

• 3:04 p.m. Sunday, 501 S. Otter Lane, heat detector activation. No fire reported.

• Firefighters assisted with 11 medical calls Friday through Sunday.
