• 2:43 p.m. Tuesday, 2500 block of Eisenhower Road, Candice Webb, 33, Ottawa, on an order for parole violation.

• 1:48 p.m. Monday, Ottawa Police Department, 715 W. Second St., a 14-year-old Ottawa boy on suspicion of indecent liberties with a known 3-year-old Ottawa girl.

• 5:25 p.m. Monday, 800 block of South Tremont Street, Erin Elliot, 18, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 5:25 p.m. Monday, 800 block of South Tremont Street, Cai Yeager, 23, Ottawa, on suspicion of no proof of insurance and on a City of Ottawa warrant after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 10:47 p.m. Monday, 400 block of East Second Street, a 15-year-old Ottawa girl on suspicion of battering a known 43-year-old Ottawa man.

• 11:06 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of East Eighth Street, Brandy Crouch, 33, Ottawa, on suspicion of harboring a vicious dog after her dog attacked a known 40-year-old Ottawa man’s dog.

• 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Michael Flitton, 33, Kansas City, Missouri, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of Ash Street, Brandon Dewey, 22, Ottawa, on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident after he backed into a parked unoccupied vehicle and failed to report it.

• 1:24 a.m. Wednesday, 500 block of South Willow Street, Tracy Blanco, 54, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery of a known 23-year-old Ottawa woman.

Accidents

• 11:37 p.m. Monday, 1500 block of I-35, a 2009 tractor-trailer driven by Dino Fabris, 44, Texas, was northbound on I-35 near milepost 173 when a gust of wind caused the trailer to tip over. Dino was uninjured, but his passenger sustained a minor injury and was transported to Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, 3500 block of Idaho Road, a 2003 Chevrolet Impala driven by Aletta Purcell, 59, Pomona, was northbound and swerved to miss an animal in the roadway and struck a mailbox.

• 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of U.S. 59, a vehicle driven by Jeana Welton, 52, Phoenix, Arizona, was southbound when Welton fell asleep at the wheel, left the roadway and struck a tree. Welton sustained minor injuries and was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of East Hamblin Street, a 35-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known 44-year-old Ottawa man eavesdropped on her.

Thefts

• 8:10 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of North Main Street, a 43-year-old Auburn man reported an unknown suspect entered a locked residence that is under construction and stole items.

• 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of North Locust Street, a 79-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect scammed him out of money.

Accidents

• 3:03 p.m. Monday, 1500 block of South Main Street, a vehicle driven by Christopher Cunningham, 36, Ottawa, struck a vehicle driven by Charles King, 67, Princeton. Cunningham was cited for improper turn.

• 4:23 p.m. Monday, 100 block of North Main Street, a vehicle driven by Linda Good, 59, Wellsville, struck a vehicle driven by Rebekah Lay, 28, Ottawa. Good was cited for improper turn.

• 7:20 p.m. Monday, 300 block of East First Street, a vehicle driven by Brenda Slankard, 24, Crowley, Louisiana, struck an unoccupied parked vehicle which in turn struck another unoccupied parked vehicle. Slankard was arrested on suspicion of inattentive driving and no driver’s license.

• Monday: 300 block of Walnut Street, public assist; 900 block of Main Street, motorist assist; 300 block of Walnut Street, traffic complaint; 400 block of Maple Street, traffic complaint; 300 block of Locust Street, utility line down.

• Tuesday: 300 block of East Seventh Street, power line down; 300 block of Walnut Street, medical call; 800 block of Main Street, public assist.

• 12:44 a.m. Monday, 411 E. 14th Street, downed power line.

• 7:16 a.m. Monday, Ottawa University, 1001 S. Cedar St., smoke detector activation. No fire reported.

• 11:30 p.m. Monday, West Seventh and South Olive streets, downed power line.

• 11:31 p.m. Monday, 1700 S. Maple St., downed power line.

• 2:34 a.m. Tuesday, 428 S. Cherry St., downed power line.

• 3:37 a.m. Tuesday, 1419 S. Mulberry St., downed power line.

• Firefighters assisted with seven medical calls and one elderly assist Monday and Tuesday.
