• 6:46 p.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Melissa Naumann, 24, Shawnee, on suspicion of trafficking contraband into the detention center, possession of methamphetamine/stimulants and on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 8:19 p.m. Wednesday, 13th and College streets, Ashley McCrea, 23, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving while suspended, no insurance, illegal registration and improper turn.

• 10:25 a.m. Thursday, DIY Supply, 2204 S. Princeton Circle, Kimberly Sumpter, 46, Ottawa, on suspicion of theft and unlawful computer acts.

• 12:29 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of South Cypress Street, Adam Hernandez, 35, Ottawa, on suspicion of aggravated battery, domestic battery, battery, criminal restraint and criminal damage to property.

• 7:57 a.m. Wednesday, 400 block of Hoover Street, a 45-year-old Lyndon man reported a 37-year-old Pomona man stole electricity from the City of Pomona and damaged a seal on the electrical meter at the suspect’s home.

• 9:39 a.m. Wednesday, 3200 block of Butler Road, a 50-year-old Richmond man reported vandalism to his 2009 Ford F-150.

Thefts

• 11:14 a.m. Thursday, 3100 block of California Terrace, a USD 287 employee reported miscellaneous items stolen from Pomona Sports Complex.

• 5:56 p.m. Thursday, 500 block of John Brown Road, a 77-year-old Lane man reported the theft of 50 hedge posts.

• 9:29 p.m. Thursday, Caseys General Store, 210 E. Franklin St., Pomona, an employee reported the theft of $51.70 of fuel.

Accidents

• 5:39 a.m. Friday, 900 block of Virginia Road, a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Hunter Jenkins, 18, Osawatomie, was northbound when it struck a deer.

• 10:12 a.m. Wednesday, Sun Studio, a 38-year-old Ottawa woman reported jewelry stolen while she was at Sun Studio.

• 1:01 p.m. Wednesday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., a 21-year-old Ottawa woman reported items stolen from Walmart.

• 4:27 p.m. Wednesday, Price Chopper, 2138 S. Princeton St., a 94-year-old Ottawa woman reported items stolen while she was at Price Chopper.

Accidents

• 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of South Main Street, a vehicle driven by Rosie Cartee, 56, Ottawa, struck a vehicle driven by Wendy Southard, 38, Baldwin City. Cartee was cited for inattentive driving.
