• 2:24 p.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Stephanie Henderson, 28, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant.

• 12:25 a.m. Thursday, 419 E. Second St., Pomona, Rachel Pena-Sherman, 31, Pomona, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 12:36 a.m. Thursday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Carly Buhs, 31, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant.

• 11:51 a.m. Thursday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Aaron Lehman, 23, Ottawa, on suspicion of failing to register as an offender, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 9:22 p.m. Thursday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Joshua Gorski, 27, Raymore, Mo., on a Franklin County civil warrant.

• 10:37 a.m. Wednesday, 500 block of South Sycamore Street, Justin Vogeler, 28, Ottawa, on suspicion of endangerment of a child.

• 7:36 p.m. Wednesday, 800 block of North King Street, Matthew Land, 28, Ottawa, on a Johnson County warrant.

• 1:07 a.m. Thursday, 200 block of West Second Street, Nathan Seyler, 30, Ottawa, on suspicion of criminal damage to property.

• 10:26 a.m. Thursday, 700 block of South Willow Street, Danial Evans, 26, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 5:54 p.m. Thursday, 200 block of South Elm Street, Christopher Davis, 26, Ottawa, on two City of Ottawa warrants.

• 12:03 a.m. Friday, 2200 block of South Princeton Circle Drive, a 16-year-old Ottawa boy was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while suspended and underage consumption.

Incidents

• 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, 1300 block of North Davis Avenue, Brian Vanakin, 33, Ottawa, was served with a protection order, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 3:40 a.m. Thursday, 300 block of West Third Terrace, Wellsville, a 35-year-old Wellsville man reported four unknown teenagers were knocking on his front door. When he went outside he found egg shells on his door and porch, according to the sheriff’s report.

Thefts

• 2:01 p.m. Wednesday, 149 Walnut Creek Road, a 34-year-old Wellsville man reported the theft of his checkbook from his garage. The man reported he thinks the checkbook was stolen by a friend who was lawfully in the home. Nine checks were written out of the checkbook in Ottawa and Paola, according to the sheriff’s report.

• 3:14 p.m. Wednesday, 207 High St., a 54-year-old Princeton man reported his dirt bike was taken from his former girlfriend’s home in Princeton. Loss was estimated at $8,000.

• 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, 210 E. Franklin St., a 21-year-old Ottawa man reported that someone he was riding in a car with took money out of his wallet. Loss was estimated at $2,000.

• 8:49 a.m. Thursday, 2600 block of Riley Road, a rural county resident reported the theft of tools valued at $13,000, according to a sheriff’s report.

• 5:11 p.m. Thursday, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, 305 S. Main St., a man reported someone forged his check at the Princeton liquor store for $23.40, according to a sheriff’s report.

Accidents

• 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, milepost 197, I-35, a 2014 Toyota Yaris driven by Mary Geske, 57, Windsor, Wis., was northbound in the 4400 block of I-35 when a vehicle in front of the Yaris struck tire debris, causing it to damage the front bumper of Geske’s car, according to a sheriff’s report. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

Incidents

• 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, 800 block of North Cleveland Street, Emily Bailey, 29, Ottawa, was cited and released on a notice to appear in court on suspicion of harboring a vicious dog after her dog was reported to have bitten a 14-year-old Ottawa boy.

• 5:17 p.m. Thursday, 900 Block of Olive Street, William Megenity, 21, Ottawa, was cited and released on a notice to appear for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Thefts

• 8:54 a.m. Wednesday, Auto Zone, 1630 S. Main St., an Auto Zone employee reported the theft of an item by an unknown man.

• 2:58 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 block of Princeton Street, a 34-year-old Wellsville man reported the forgery of a check by a known individual. The victim later reported to police that three more checks had been forged.

Accidents

• 11:13 a.m. Thursday, 1600 block of South Main Street, a vehicle driven by Christine Bean, 52, Ottawa, struck a vehicle driven by Bonita Welborn, 75, Ottawa. Bean was cited for inattentive driving, according to the police report.

• 4:34 p.m. Wednesday, 915 S. Willow St., alarm system activation. No fire reported.

• Firefighters assisted with 11 medical calls Wednesday and Thursday.

Franklin County Fire Departments

• 11:38 a.m. Wednesday, 4665 John Brown Road, Cutler and Wellsville firefighters responded to a grass fire.

• 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, K-68 and Kentucky Road, Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison firefighters responded to a grass fire.

• Firefighters responded to three medical calls Wednesday and Thursday.
