Sheriff’s Department Arrests

• 11:32 p.m. Friday, 300 block of South Maple Street, Tony Strunk, 36, Ottawa, on two Franklin County warrants and one Atchison County warrant.

• 4:10 p.m. Saturday, 700 block of Lincoln Street, Michael Thompson Jr., 31, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant.

Police Department Arrests

• 4:49 a.m. Saturday, 1400 block of South Main Street, a 14-year-old Lyndon boy was arrested on suspicion of no driver’s license after he was stopped for a traffic violation.

• 9:18 a.m. Sunday, American Eagle, 1301 N. Davis Ave., William Worthy Jr., 20, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 1:03 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of South Ash Street, a 16-year-old Ottawa girl, a 15-year-old old Ottawa girl and a 15-year-old Ottawa boy were arrested on suspicion of curfew violation.

Incidents

• 5 p.m. Friday, 3200 block of Idaho Road, a 48-year-old man reported he sent his iPod, iPhone and $123 to an individual July 1 in St. Joseph, Mo., to have them repaired. The man reported the person had not returned his telephone calls.

Thefts

• 7:30 a.m. Friday, 200 block of Madison Street, Pomona, a 36-year-old Pomona man reported someone entered his home and stole several electronic devices. Loss was estimated at $4,800.

• 2:29 p.m. Sunday, 200 block of North Seventh Street, a 48-year-old Ottawa man and a 48-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone took several items from their home. Total loss was estimated at $3,445.

Accidents

• 8:52 a.m. Friday, 2800 block of Sand Creek Road, a truck driven by Troy Wilson, 19, Princeton, was traveling east on Sand Creek Road when it hydroplaned and slid off the road, according to a sheriff’s report. The truck was not damaged, the report said.

• 12:33 p.m. Friday, 1445 U.S. 59, David Kobel, 38, Princeton, reported someone hit his truck sometime Thursday or Friday and drove off without reporting it.

• 7:34 a.m. Friday, Mid Town Storage, 113 N. Oak St., a 40-year-old Ottawa man reported someone damaged property owned by Mid Town Storage.

• 4 p.m. Friday, 800 block of South Cypress Street, a 20-year-old Ottawa man and an 18-year-old Ottawa girl each accused each other of battery, according to a police report.

• 2:22 a.m. Saturday, Fry Orthopedics, 216 W. 13th St., unknown suspects damaged a window and attempted to remove items from the business, according to a police report.

• 7:29 a.m. Saturday, 1500 block of Osage Drive, a 44-year-old Ottawa woman reported a 17-year-old Ottawa boy was a runaway.

• 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Franklin County Annex, 1418 S. Main St., a 67-year-old Ottawa man reported someone broke into a storage building owned by Franklin County.

• 8:20 a.m. Saturday, The Green Store, 1544 S. Main St., a 71-year-old Rantoul man reported someone damaged a vehicle that he owns.

• 2:28 a.m. Sunday, 1500 block of South Osage Drive, a 16-year-old Ottawa youth was taken into protective custody after making suicidal remarks, according to a police report.

• 6:28 a.m. Sunday, Ottawa Plains Apartments, 1141 W. 17th St., a 56-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone damaged her vehicle.

• 6:28 a.m. Sunday, Ottawa Plains Apartments, 1141 W. 17th St., a 30-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone damaged her vehicle.

• 10:48 p.m. Friday, 300 block of South Maple Street, a 36-year-old Ottawa man reported the theft of two bicycles and tools from his garage by unknown suspects.

• 7:43 a.m. Saturday, 400 block of South Poplar Street, a 27-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone stole her bicycle.

• 2:56 p.m. Saturday, 300 block of South Elm Street, a 37-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his bicycle.

• 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Ransom Memorial Hospital, 1301 S. Main St., a 35-year-old Ottawa woman reported known suspects stole items from the hospital.

• 11:42 a.m. Sunday, 1400 block of South Willow Street, a 36-year-old Ottawa man reported a bicycle was stolen from his property.

• 1:24 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of South Poplar Street, a 31-year-old Ottawa woman reported a bicycle was stolen from her property.

• 4:10 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of South Willow Street, a 37-year-old Ottawa man reported someone entered his attached garage and stole items.

Accidents

• 4:10 p.m. Friday, 1200 block of Lincoln Street, a vehicle driven by Mark Dickey, 40, Ottawa, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Tammy Bishop, 41, Ottawa. Dickey was cited for following to close and basic speed, according to a police report.

• Noon Saturday, 2000 block of South Princeton Street, a vehicle driven by Christine Baker, 50, Olathe, struck a vehicle driven by Sean Jones, 21, Lenexa. Baker was cited for improper left turn, according to a police report.
