 • 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, Nicholas R. Ford, 30, Pomona, on suspicion of domestic battery, according to a Franklin County Jail booking report.

• 12:38 p.m. Thursday, Shaun D. Nomoccasin, 21, Lawrence, on suspicion of a probation violation, according to a Franklin County Jail booking report.

• 3:51 p.m. Thursday, Dennis E. Loftin, 59, Baldwin City, on suspicion of possession of marijuana/hallucinogens and drug paraphernalia, according to a Franklin County Jail booking report.

• 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Amanda M. Wright, 24, Lawrence, on suspicion of driving under the influence and transporting an open container, according to a Franklin County Jail booking report.

• 4:03 p.m. Wednesday, Hamblin and Burroughs streets, Savannah Reed, 26, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 7:54 a.m. Thursday, 600 block of Linwood Street, Charles Fleming, 36, Ottawa, on warrants from the City of Ottawa, the City of Garnett and Jackson County, Mo.

• 11:21 p.m. Thursday, 600 block of South Poplar Street, Justin Simms, 23, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal restraint and criminal damage to property.

Incidents

• 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, American Eagle, 1301 N. Davis Road, a 46-year-old Quenemo woman reported an unknown suspect damaged her car.

• 5:22 p.m. Wednesday, 500 block of South Poplar Street, an Ottawa woman reported a 14-year-old child as a runaway. The child later was found, according to a police report.

• 8:23 p.m. Wednesday, 700 block of North Cherry Street, a 50-year-old Ottawa man was taken into protective custody after he attempted to harm himself, according to a police report.

• 11:17 p.m. Wednesday, 700 block of West 15th Street, a 38-year-old Ottawa woman reported a 14-year-old child as a runaway. The child later was found, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 11:58 a.m. Wednesday, GreatLife Golf & Fitness, 1001 E. Logan St., a 43-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole a lawnmower.

• 8:14 a.m. Thursday, 400 block of South Walnut Street, a 66-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole tires and rims from his yard.

Accidents

• 12:02 p.m. Thursday, 200 block of Walnut Street, a vehicle driven by Charles Harris, 96, Ottawa, struck three parked vehicles in a parking lot. Harris was treated at the scene but declined transport to an area hospital, police said at the scene. The three parked vehicles were owned by Marilyn Bennett, 66, Ottawa; Ryan Green, 27, Dallas, and Jan Jameson, 55, St. Peter, Ill., according to a police report.

• 10:59 a.m. Wednesday, 235 S. Main St., alarm system activation. No fire reported.

• 10:37 a.m. Thursday, 235 S. Main St., smoke detector activation. No fire reported.

• Firefighters assisted with eight medical calls Wednesday.

Franklin County Fire Departments

• Firefighters responded to three medical calls Wednesday and Thursday.
