Police Department Arrests

• 7:12 p.m. Saturday, 700 block of North Cherry Street, Eddie Hamilton, 50, Ottawa, on suspicion of criminal threat, battery, assault, criminal damage to property, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest after getting into an altercation, according to a police report.

• 1:57 a.m. Sunday, 2718 I-35, Leonel Morales, 28, Stephenville, Texas, on suspicion of no driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no child restraints.

• 2:43 a.m. Sunday, Love’s Travel Stop, 203 E. 27th St., Brandon Fugate, 26, Ottawa, on a Douglas County warrant.

• 4:25 p.m. Sunday, 1000 block of South Main Street, Charles Hendrickson, 51, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report.

Thefts

• 7:58 a.m. Saturday, 2100 block of East 15th Street, a 68-year-old Shawnee man reported the theft of a Kawasaki Mule and criminal damage to property. The loss was estimated at $9,060.

• 1:22 p.m. Saturday, 100 block of Prince Street, Princeton, a 43-year-old Princeton woman reported a wireless router was missing.

• 1:53 p.m. Saturday, 300 block of South Main Street, Lane, a 62-year-old Lane woman reported the theft of an adult tricycle valued at $75.

• 1:36 p.m. Sunday, 3100 block of Idaho Road, a 60-year-old Ottawa man reported someone took his generator out of the back of his truck while he was in church. Loss was estimated at $450.

• 9:38 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of South Kansas Avenue, Lane, a Lane couple reported an unknown person entered their residence and took prescription medication. Loss was estimated at $154.

• 4:34 p.m. Saturday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., a 52-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked at Walmart.

• 10:32 p.m. Saturday, 300 block of East Ninth Street, a 16-year-old Ottawa boy reported he was sexually assaulted. The case remains under investigation.

Thefts

• 12:09 p.m. Saturday, 200 block of South Main Street, a 51-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his bicycle.

• 12:17 p.m. Saturday, 900 block of South Cedar Street, a 29-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his bicycle.

• 12:22 p.m. Saturday, 200 block of South Main Street, a 40-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his bicycle.

Accidents

• 9:58 p.m. Friday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., Susan Parks, 57, Paola, reported an unknown suspect’s vehicle struck her legally parked vehicle and left the scene.

• 11:45 a.m. Saturday, 1600 block of South Main Street. A vehicle driven by Eldon Sheler, 65, Ottawa, ran into the back of a vehicle driven by James Nickelson, 47, Ottawa. Sheler was cited for inattentive driving.
