Police Department Arrests

• 8:51 p.m. Tuesday, 200 block of East First Street, Desmond Wilhite, 77, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs after being stopped for a traffic violation.

• 10:32 p.m. Tuesday, 200 block of East Second Street, Dawn Burgess, 32, Wellsville, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of depressants, possession of paraphernalia and no insurance after being stopped for a traffic violation. Natasha McKay, 34, Ottawa, also was arrested on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia.

• 1:19 a.m. Wednesday, 600 block of South Burroughs Street, William D. Fortin Jr., 30, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery.

• 1:51 a.m. Wednesday, 800 block of South Poplar Street, Jody Anderson, 21, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Incidents

• 9:07 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Missouri Road, a 43-year-old Princeton woman reported a known 55-year-old Princeton man violated a protection order.

Thefts

• 9:46 a.m. Tuesday, 3000 block of Kingman Road, a 67-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect stole an X-Box 360 and a Compaq laptop from a residence. Estimated loss was $609.

Incidents

• 3:11 p.m. Monday, 1600 block of South Willow Street, a 59-year-old Ottawa woman reported she had been bitten by a dog. The dog’s owner Charles Hendrickson, 52, Ottawa, later was cited on suspicion of harboring a vicious dog.

• 6:12 p.m. Monday, 600 block of North King Street, a 29-year-old Ottawa woman and a 36-year-old Ottawa man accused each other of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. The case remains under investigation.

Thefts

• 12:41 p.m. Monday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., a store employee reported known suspects stole items.

Accidents

• 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, Sirloin Stockade, 2230 S. Princeton St., Terry Seaton Sr., 60, Ottawa, reported someone struck his vehicle and then left the scene.

Wellsville Police Department News

• Monday: 500 block of East Seventh Street, public assist; 600 block of West Third Terrace, traffic complaint; 4800 block of Fiber Lane, alarm.

• Tuesday: 800 block of Main Street, civil standby.

Fire Calls

• 8:12 a.m. Monday, 1300 block of Main Street, firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle wreck.

• 7:07 p.m. Monday, 2515 E. Logan St., alarm system activation. No fire reported.

• Firefighters assisted with five medical calls Monday and Tuesday.
