• 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Franklin County Jail, 305 S. Main St., Lucas Simpkins, 33, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant.

• 1:11 a.m. Monday, 2700 block of I-35 in Franklin County, Barry Lawrence Jr, 24, Gadsden, Ala., on suspicion of driving while suspended.

• 11 p.m. Friday, Logan and North Poplar streets, Austin Cupp, 19, Quenemo, on two Osage County warrants.

• 1:44 a.m. Saturday, 1400 block of South Main Street, Clifford Mishler, 25, Colony, Texas, on suspicion of driving under the influence, no insurance and driving with no headlights.

• 8:40 a.m. Saturday, 900 block of North Main Street, Marty Jones, 56, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving while suspended, no insurance and a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 12:02 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of South Pecan Street, a 33-year-old Ottawa woman reported someone broke a window on her vehicle.

Thefts

• Friday, no time given, Casey’s General Store, 334 N. Main St., a 32-year-old Ottawa man reported someone had forged several checks. William Martin II, 21, Ottawa, later was arrested in connection with the incident, according to a police report.

• Friday, no time given, Casey’s General Store, 334 N. Main St., a 24-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect drove off without paying for fuel.

• Friday, no time given, Short Stop, 1621 S. Main St., a 28-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole fuel.

• 8:10 a.m. Saturday, American Eagle, 1301 N. Davis Road, a 21-year-old Topeka man reported an unknown suspect stole his wallet, checks and identification cards.

• 1:17 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of North Cleveland Street, a 50-year-old Ottawa man reported someone entered his residence and stole items.

• 5:55 p.m. Sunday, East North and North Cherry streets, firefighters responded to a grass fire.

• Firefighters assisted with 11 medical calls Friday through Sunday.

• 11:34 a.m. Friday, Rock Creek and U.S. 59, Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison firefighters responded to a report of a problem with a power line.
