‘Brilliant’ sentiment

The letter submitted on behalf of Concerned Patrons of West Franklin 287, Dianne Macoubrie, treasurer, and published in The Herald’s Weekender edition, not only hits the nail on the head, but is an accurate and dominant statement by the majority of property owners in the West Franklin school district.

The proposed bond and the school board’s “vision” are part of an out-of-control train wreck.

I have many times said that if you do not vote, you do not count. The April 2 West Franklin school board election is very timely. Let’s save ourselves from those who ignore the public majority and choose to further their own agendas via the elected positions to which they were entrusted. That trust has been broken repeatedly and a breath of fresh honesty and real concern for our students and communities is long due to those of us who foot the bill.

Congratulations on a brilliant letter.
